    Hair StudioTo the uninitiated, a warm welcome is owed to Walter Carrillo, who has revitalized 'hair care' into a 'caring adventure' with dedicated staff in thoughtfully revamped quarters at his Westchester Studio. We are furtunate to have an artist in our midst. Before opening his Studio at The Westchester, Walter did a thriving business at his Dupont Circle location. He was recognized as one of the best hairsylists by City Paper in 1985. He has faithfully honed his skills by attending professional classes in New York several times a year to keep updated on how he can best serve his clientele. Feeling of 'respectable age', he made the decision to venture here in need of a peaceful space, where he could release everyday tensions by offering great services at a reasonable price. His appointment book may need to be expanded as our neighbors realize the superior services that run the gamut from classic to avante garde, natural to 'night on the town' looks. Walter has assembled a staff of seven wonderful people who are like family - Mr. Ray from Jordan, Mr. Francois from France, Mrs. Ayse from Turkey (of Westchester Restaurant fame), Miss Leticia from the Philippines, and Miss Jehanmarie from Venezuela. The Studio also offers skin care, manicures and pedicures. A masseuse will soon be available several days by appointment. Walter hopes to expend 150% effort to make our denizens happy and facing the world at their very best. The Studio is open Tuesday through Friday from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. Saturday hours are 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. Please make appointments by calling (202) 333-3848. Walk-ins are always welcome.
